I am a self-driven and enthusiastic Textile/Surface Pattern designer who achieved a First-Class BA Honours degree in Textile Design at The University of Huddersfield. I specialise in commercial print design where I love to generate beautifully inventive and playful designs that brim with creativity. I received three first place awards during my time at university: The Duchess of York Design Challenge 2018, Huddersfield Textile Society Creativity and Innovation in Design award 2020 and the AVA Award 2020 for the creative and excellent use of AVA in their practice.

I consider myself to be a contemporary and original designer who is constantly striving to think of engaging and imaginative ideas to explore in my work. I have a keen eye for detail and colour and enjoy creating intricate designs; however also love to create textural and abstract patterns.

I've developed my expertise within the design industry through my role as a senior graphic and product designer at a homeware and giftware company. In this capacity, I design and promote products for diverse businesses across various industries. Throughout my career, I have worked with some of the biggest online & offline retailers. These products are then seamlessly integrated with custom personalization software, allowing me to gain extensive proficiency in E-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Pagefly, Wix, Amazon, Etsy, and eBay. These experiences have made me a versatile and adaptable designer.

I consider myself to be a contemporary and original designer who is constantly striving to think of engaging and imaginative ideas to explore in my work. My colourful aesthetic is informed by a love of drawing, which begins by using a variety of hand-generated media. This is then followed by looking at ways to incorporate the digital sphere without losing the artwork's original integrity and handwriting. I have a keen eye for detail and enjoy creating playful designs for a variety of outcomes. I favour digital print and pride myself on my strong CAD abilities. My confidence extends to working on designs for various outcomes, including commercial products, social media/graphic design content, also front end website development which I have honed through hands-on experience with live briefs from esteemed companies and industry exposure, as showcased within my portfolio.
